Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC) Neurosurgical Mission

The CRMC is designated by the Department of Health as a basic brain and spine care center in Mindanao. Last June 20, 2022, collaborative efforts of the SPMC Division of Neurosurgery headed by Dr. Jose Nicanor Del Rosario and CRMC Surgery chair Dr. Halima Romancap led to a three-day surgical mission catering various neurological cases including meningiomas, encephaloceles, myelomeningoceles, chronic subdural hematomas, and other intracranial tumors. The mission was able to successfully treat 8 adult and pediatric patients.
